Too many names to mention however from the chefs, housekeeping, waiters , waitresses and reception staff all were polite, attentive, friendly and hard working.
Samantha at reception was excellent throughout, sorting out all our requests and putting our minds at ease. Nothing was a problem.
Jack Burgess is a truly outstanding young man and an absolute ambassador for your organisation. From the moment we set foot in the hotel back in early 2023 Jack sold the venue to us. His professional approach, attention to detail, confidence and "nothing is too hard" attitude completely won us over.

Lovely location and very pleasant staff
The staff were all very polite and helpful, the room superb, the food well above average. This hotel has been presented with character, from the external architecture through to the interior design and fittings. It projects comfort with restrained elegance.
From the moment we met Martin to discuss the Piersland as a possible venue for our wedding to the end of the conversation we were completely SOLD. The vibe and the feeling of the place felt warm, friendly, and inviting - exactly what we were looking for. Martin and the staff were amazing from start to finish. The best day of our lives.
The service at every stage was excellent. The building and grounds are stunning and great for photos. Good flexibility on the package. regarding numbers, room setup and food choices. Happy with value as well. All the guests really loved the food (we are local to the venue and have always found food to be excellent). Delighted with how things went and special thanks to Jack for making planning and the day itself go really well.
We had the most perfect wedding day at Piersland House. Our wedding coordinator Martin was absolutely fantastic, he was so organised and we didn't have to worry about a thing for the whole day. Communication with the hotel throughout the planning was great, and the day went without a single flaw. We had so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to, and the food was delicious. We had our intimate family wedding here and then a party to celebrate with all our friends and family of about 160 guests. The hotel, staff and food are fantastic, nothing was a problem and every detail attended to, rooms were spacious, very clean and an extremely nice place to stay. We would highly recommend the Piersland Hotel for weddings, functions or just for dinner.
We got married at Piersland House in September this year and I will forever be thankful to everyone we communicated with from first booking to even after our big day. A massive thank you to Reception, housekeeping, restaurant, kitchen, all of the general managers and of course wonderful Martin who had numerous meetings with us and emails and I'm sure there was some phone calls. Martin was so wonderful at keeping us calm on the day. Everything ran so smoothly leading up to and on our big day. We're still hearing from guests about how delicious the evening meal was as well as how stunning the grounds are.
A lot of our vendors were also booked through recommendations from The Piersland which we also greatly appreciate through the planning process. Best wedding venue. Thank you. We've always been big fans of the Piersland and to make it all extra special they're pet friendly and a short walk from the beach, this makes for both a wonderful visit when we stay but we also have some beautiful wedding photos thanks to the wonderful location.
We had our 'micro' (9 people total) wedding at Piersland House Hotel and from start to finish they were immense, allowing us all to just enjoy the day and be in the moment. The venue itself is stunning. Our photographer had a plethora of unique and lovely places in and around the hotel to use and got some really stunning shots. We were ably assisted by the gorgeous Scotland which obliged and provided a beautiful sunset on a freezing cold December night.
We live abroad so it was a very taxing thing to organise (for my wife mostly) without really being able to see venues, meet with vendors/service providers etc but all were so great. Both Martins were also omnipresent on the day/night and nothing was too much trouble.
We can't express enough how wonderful Piersland are and how perfect they made our wedding day. The food was outstanding, the staff friendly and well mannered, the rooms stunning and they made everyone feel relaxed. A massive thank you to Piersland House for giving us the wedding we dreamt of.
